WATN collects the following data:

You directly provide WATN with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Contact WATN online or place a request for any of our services.
  • Register as a volunteer

In addition we may also collect information from publicly-published sources such as Newspapers in order to provide contact information to listeners about events or services provided by outside bodies.

WATN collects your data so that we can:

How do we store your data?

WATN securely stores any physical copies of your data in locked storage. Computer data is stored in password-protected files.

WATN will keep name, postal address, email address for listeners and volunteers for as long as the persons concerned are users or volunteers for the service. Once notified that a person no longer wishes to receive the service, or resigns as a volunteer, we will delete your data by shredding paper records and deletion of computer records within thirty days.

WATN would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
